With Bacchanal just around the corner, excitement is in the air. Start planning the day’s activities with your friends, putting together your hottest festival outfit, and streaming the official Bacchanal playlist on repeat. The theme this year is “Trip to Bacchanal”—interpret it in any way you’d like. However, through all the hustle and bustle on the day of the show, it’s important that you take the proper steps to keep yourself and those around you safe. Here are some important safety tips to follow:
- Eat before the show
Make sure that you have breakfast before the concert so that you are energized and ready! Free snacks and bagels will be available at wristband pickup. During the show, if you’re in the viewing area, you can visit ALICE! stations for food and water.
- Drink wisely and stay hydrated
Space your drinks out throughout the day, preferably having one or fewer per hour and alternating between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Be sure to sip on water throughout the day to stay hydrated and energized. Do not leave your drinks unattended!
- Wear sunscreen
Although this could change, it’s looking like Bacchanal will be a sunny day—be sure to apply sunscreen throughout the day to protect yourself!
- Stick to your group
Stay with an agreed-upon group of friends throughout the day, so that you can check on each other and take care of one another in case of an emergency. If you or someone you know is experiencing slowed or irregular breathing, is unconscious, and/or will not wake up, call CUEMS at (212) 854-5555.
- Be considerate to others
Be responsible and respectful to staff, other working students, and fellow audience members!
- Have fun!
Bring lawn games, enjoy the music, and have a great time with your friends!
If you plan on watching the concert from the ticketed viewing area, be sure to review this important information before arriving:
- Wear your wristband
- Visit ALICE! stations for food and water
- Don’t bring bags larger than 11” x 3”
- Don’t bring outside food
- Don’t bring containers with liquid
- Don’t bring drugs or paraphernalia
- Don’t bring weapons
Bacchanal 2024 will be an event to remember with the supremely talented performers JID, AG Club, and Chandra—the audience will undoubtedly be packed with supporters. Make sure that you secure the best viewing spot with your friends by following the schedule below!
9:30am – 12pm: Wristband pickup at Dodge (GS + Barnard), Wien and Hamilton (CC + SEAS)
11am: Butler Lawns open

1pm: AG Club
