KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Hey y’all. It’s Steph and Kofi, your Bacchanal Co-Presidents here. We’re super excited for Bacchanal to take place BACCH ON CAMPUS for the first time in years! Here’s everything you need to know to have the ultimate experience on Saturday, straight from the source.

WRISTBANDS

Rise and shine because things will kick off EARLY. If you have a ticket, wristband pickup starts at 10:30 am and ends at 1:00pm. Wristbands get you access to the general viewing area in front of the stage on Low Steps. CC and SEAS, folks head to Wien or Hamilton for your wristbands. Barnard baddies and GSers, hit up Dodge hall. Have your CUID on hand so staff from USL can verify your identity and give you that sweet, sweet wristband.

VIEWING AREA

The viewing area will open at 1:00pm. Look at the signs posted around campus to know what you can and can’t bring in (hint: that borg is not getting in). Mayce, our Battle of the Bands winner and student opener, hits the stage at 1:30pm sharp, followed by Bktherula at 2:00, Bakar at 3:00, and Doechii at 4:00. The show will wrap just before 5:00pm and the viewing area will be cleared then.

ON THE LAWNS

If you didn’t get a ticket, we’ve got you – you can hear the music outside of the viewing area and even see the artists. Feel free to hang on the lawns (they’ll be open unless we get hit with crazy levels of rain), chill with your friends on other parts of campus, and enjoy the ambiance. Hoot, Ratrock, WKCR, WBAR, and other clubs will be having giveaways and showcasing the arts on campus! Lawns will be cleared soon after the show ends.

FREE EATS!

What’s a music festival without some free food? There will be free bagels, cereal, donuts, chips, and more at wristband pickup (you don’t need a wristband to grab and go). The first 2000 people to pick up a ticket will get a Bacchanal-branded water bottle to help you keep hydrated. ALICE! Health stations will be stationed near the viewing area to provide water and snacks to sustain you through the day. Oasis Juice Bar, a personal OBSESSION of mine, will be handing out 400 free, freshly made smoothies in Lerner starting at 11:00 am. If you get hungry for more, the Westside Spring Fair is tentatively scheduled to set up along 110th to 116th, selling local foods and goods. For those celebrating Ramadan, Bacchanal is cosponsoring an Iftar at 7pm in Earl Hall.

HAVE FUN, STAY SAFE

Ultimately, Bacchanal is about bringing our campus community together. No matter how you spend your day, have fun, stay safe, and enjoy the music.

HAPPY BACCHANAL!

-Steph + Kofi
